How Our Process works for You

Process is everything in Estate & Financial Planning, and our process goes a step further than most.



Step 1

Our first step is to sit down with you and figure out are we a good fit for you, and if you are a good fit for us.  While it is not a requirement, we do find we work best with folks who are socially and community minded, and have an interest in re-directing taxes  on their estate to charitable causes.


Step 2

If we both decide we are a good fit to work with one another, we’ll sit down and explore your personal values and your financial goals.

Step 3

Once we have a good handle on your goals and priorities, we’ll run an analysis to determine what the best course of action is for you.  Every situation is unique.

Step 4

If charitable giving is part of your plan, we will reach out to the organizations you are wishing to support in order to determine how to ensure your gift has the maximum impact for both you, and your charities of choice.  Quiet Legacy has strong ties to charities across Canada, placing us in a unique position to have maximum impact while meeting your needs.

Step 5

With your permission, we’ll work with  your lawyer, accountant and other advisors to ensure that all of your plans are coordinated.  All too often we see estate plans fail due to lack of co-ordination.  We view this as a vital and important step.

Step 6

Once we have implemented your plan, we’ll continue to work with you on a regular basis to ensure we are on track.
